We’re looking for a highly organized Systems & Marketing Manager that’s passionate about others experiencing the rewards of home ownership. The primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day logistics of home and listing preparation, assisting the team from contract to closing so that home sellers enjoy a seamless experience, and the maintenance and execution of all marketing activities. Our new team member will use every tool and skill they have — or are willing to learn — to help support our agents and our current clients, as well as help us attract as many future clients as possible. 

The right candidate will not only work within our current systems, but improve them and create new ones. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and are equally good at working alone and collaboratively. This person is calm under pressure, flexible, personable, detail oriented, respectful of confidentiality, organized, and proactive. 

This role is also responsible for supporting our print and digital media strategy. Digital agility and enthusiasm for driving brand awareness and engagement across multiple channels will continue to strengthen our already established brand. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with professional writing experience, enthusiasm for good design, and knowledge of social media platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist real estate agents to manage all aspects of sellers transactions from first contact to going under contract

  • Execute all required steps to list a property and get it under contract, such as preparing listing materials and pre-listing presentations, coordinate showings, and schedule open houses

  • Consult with sellers to coordinate staging, property photography, home improvements, signage, lockbox, access requirements, and other marketing activities required for showing properties

  • Provide weekly updates to sellers and team leader with feedback and progress reports from showings and marketing efforts

  • Input listing information into the MLS, maintain documents, and track progress for each listing 

  • Maintain client database and transaction management systems

  • Assist agents with closing out a deal including sign and lockbox removal and closing gifts

  • Assist team leader in marketing projects and tasks ranging from direct mail campaigns to social media to blogging and email

  • Assist agents in earning, receiving, and then sharing reviews across multiple platforms

  • Assist with client and company events, ensuring guests have an excellent experience and feel warmly welcomed 

  • Assist with building an engaging and established company brand presence within Wilmington and surrounding areas through digital and traditional media platforms

  • Moderate and facilitate an engaging company brand presence across the web and active social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, and more

  • Project manage company marketing materials (print pieces, direct mail, business cards, etc.) facilitating communication between vendors

  • Assist agents with individual marketing and advertising goals as needed, including help with projects such as direct mail, Facebook marketing, client events, and local advertising campaigns

  • Assist Operations Manager as needed


  • 2+ year(s) in real estate or a closely related field 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Motivated self-starter with strong project management skills, someone who is both fast and accurate, is known for their attention to detail, and has strong customer service skills

  • Proficient with technology such as Microsoft Office and Google Apps (experience with other real estate technology is preferred)

  • Experience with marketing and social media

Compensation + Hours

  • This is a salaried role with compensation that’s above the industry standard (based on experience)

  • 30 hours a week, in office

  • Monday through Thursday, 7 hours per day; Friday, 4 hours; occasional weekend and evening work for special events or campaigns

As the needs of the business change, this may become a full-time position with benefits.
