The son of an avid outdoorsman, Stephen grew up taking full advantage of the spectacular wildlife and breathtaking landscape the Cape Fear coast, and its surrounding counties, had to offer. After graduating from the College Of Charleston with a degree in corporate communication, Stephen’s love for the outdoors led him to the NC Outward Bound Leadership Training Course. He eventually returned to the low country of South Carolina, first working as a naturalist and kayak guide for Middleton Place Plantation, and later in fundraising, development, and marketing for the College of Charleston Athletic Department. After a brief stint in Nashville, to pursue a beautiful girl (whom he later married), he returned to Wilmington. Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge about our fair city and a true appreciation of its natural resources to our team!
