Dave Odom
Manager and Owner
Lanier Property Group, LLC

Dave Odom has been the managing owner of Lanier Property Group, LLC since it’s inception, and served as President of Sivica Communities from the late 1990’s until April 2007. A veteran of the real estate industry with more than 25 years experience, he has been involved in the development and construction of both retail and residential projects in the Southeastern U.S. He began his career building custom homes in the Atlanta area during the early 1980’s, expanded into the commercial side of the business in the late 80’s, and ultimately became primarily focused on development by the mid 90’s. Since that time, working in association with various partners, he has developed residential neighborhoods, retail and office tracts, and multiple mixed use communities in various southeastern markets.

Dave Odom is involved with all aspects of real estate development, from the sourcing of suitable properties, the planning and acquisition of necessary entitlements, the engineering and permitting, financing, site construction, covenants and owner associations, and, ultimately, the sale and marketing of the resulting communities and developments. Over the years, he has acquired the knowledge and experience to create desirable, economically viable projects, as evidenced by the accolades and sales records of his prior and ongoing projects. Odom has proven to be a successful specialist in the creation and management of sought after, mixed use communities, bringing together a mix of residential styles and price points within livable, amenitized neighborhoods.

Dave, through his various entities, is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Home Builders. A 1976 graduate of Clemson University, Dave is an avid outdoorsman, with a particular passion for aviation.
